March Beauty Favorites
Wednesday, March 23, 2016
I wanted to try out a new series with you guys where I share out my favorite beauty products I have either been using or testing every month. I'm only going to share the ones that I'm absolutely loving and would recommend to you. Feel free to let me know what products are your picks in the comments, I'd love to hear about them! Now, I introduce you to this month's favorites:
jane iredale BeautyPrep Face Cleanser
I've been using this to take my makeup off at night. It is really gentle and effective at removing my face makeup and eyeshadow without making my face feel tight and dry. It leaves a little bit of my eyeliner on and I still have to use coconut oil and a cotton ball to get it off, but I always have to do that no matter what I'm using to remove my makeup. It is antioxidant and vitamin rich which I love. It has a slight cucumber scent which I assume is from the cucumber extract liposomes. This is the first micellar water product that I've tried so I can't really compare it to any other ones but I'm a fan of it in place of using makeup wipes. I'm still using my cleanser after this because I use a medicated one otherwise I break out but you can totally just use it as a cleanser if you want.
Decléor AROMESSENCE Neroli Hydrating Oil Serum
I've been using this one to hydrate in the morning in place of rose hip oil. It looks like I have hardly used it, but you only need a very little bit and it goes a long way. It has a really relaxing and natural scent. You guys know that I try to be careful with what I put on my skin and reduce the amount of toxins that I come in contact with. So I was really excited to try these Decléor products. Their stuff is 100% natural. I'm also a big fan of facial oils, they work really well for me and I just love what they do for my skin. This stuff really hydrates, soothes, and calms my skin leaving it radiant for the entire day.
Decléor AROMESSENCE Neroli Hydrating Night Balm
This has been my go-to moisturizer for night time for a few weeks now and every morning when I wake up my skin is absolutely glowing. At first it feels a little hard to the touch, but you just scoop out a little bit and warm it between your fingers and it just melts into your face. It has a really nice natural smell from all of the essential oils similar to the serum. It is a little bit pricey for the amount you get in the jar but just like with the serum, a little bit goes a long way. I'll definitely be interested in trying more products from Decléor based on how these two performed.
Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay
I have been hearing wonderful things about this mask for a long time and I finally decided to give it a try. It's super affordable and you get a ton in the jar. This is probably my most budget friendly favorite this month. You have to mix the mask up yourself with apple cider vinegar but holy cow does it work! I've already got three of my friends to try it and they are obsessed as well.
Disclaimer: I was gifted some of these products in consideration for review. However, all opinions are my own and I purchased the Indian Healing Clay with my own money.
