Fresh Blackberry Martini

This is one of my favorite summer drinks, it's light, refreshing, fruity, and not too sweet. The secret is to use all fresh fruit juices. Not only does it taste better, but it's better for you. For this drink I opted to use Keel Vodka, which is a premium light vodka. It is exceptionally smooth and perfect for any summer cocktails you might be mixing.

Directions:
2 oz Keel Vodka
1 oz Cream de Cassis
1.5 oz fresh blackberry puree*
Splash of fresh lemon juice

Add vodka, Cream de Cassis, blackberry puree, and lemon juice to a shaker with a generous portion of ice and shake. Pour into martini glass and serve. Enjoy responsibly!

*To make blackberry puree just toss some blackberries in your blender and liquify. Then you can strain out the seeds from the berries.

  1. Sounds like a refreshing citrus drink! Do you have recommendations of what to use if you don't want alcohol?

    1. Hi Brooke! You could just drink the blackberry puree and lemon juice! It's really good for you and super refreshing. Since you wouldn't be shaking it with ice just make sure it's chilled! Or try adding another fruit flavor to it with pureed blueberries or raspberries.
