Caliwater: My New Favorite Way to Hydrate

Since coconut water became popular I've tried to force myself to like it several times, but the truth is I actually gag while I'm drinking it. I hate it. So when I heard about Caliwater (cactus water with prickly pear extract) I was skeptical. After all, I love coconut everything but hate coconut water. I wasn't banking on the fact that I like prickly pear juice to like this product. So, I was so pleasantly surprised when I took my first sip. It's delicious! It's light, fruity, and exotic tasting. To be honest, it had a sort of blue raspberry/cotton candy taste to me. It's been my favorite way to give my hydration and replenishment a boost this summer.

The prickly pear cactus fruit is the only fruit which contains all 24 known betalains, powerful antioxidants known for their skin revitalizing benefits. This helps hydrate and revive your skin naturally. Cactus water has 5 naturally occurring electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It's low in sugar and calories and has no added colors or preservatives. So not only does it taste good, but it's good for you. It reduces inflammation, detoxifies your body, and potentially prevents premature signs of aging.

If you can't find it in a store near you (check the store locator on their website here), you can order it off Amazon here.

Have you ever tried cactus water?

This was a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

  6. I didn't know cactus water was a thing, but I'll definitely have to try it out now. I mostly drink water, but I like to change it up now and again with something besides just plain water.

  9. Ugh, I hated coconut water when I first tried it, but of course, I had bought a huge carton from Trader Joe's and had no one else to finish it for me, so I put myself in the "just do it, it's good for you" mindset. I ended up throwing it away...
I'll have to give this a try! I've tried eating cactus before, and it was interesting, so this could be cool.

  12. I have not tried this but I am very interested!! I might look for it this weekend!! I only like coconut water out of a cold, young Thai coconut. I can't do the boxed stuff either. But maybe you don't like that as well??
