Spring Stripes

What I'm Wearing:

Top: Julie Brown Designs Bracelet: Loren Hope Jeans (Similar) Wedges (Similar)

It's a beautiful Wednesday! I just wanted to take a second in case anyone is wondering to address the mark on my arm now that it's going to be showing in photos with warmer weather and less long sleeves. A few months ago I was using a curling wand to curl my hair and was attempting to curl a section in the opposite direction I usually do. I had the want behind my head and bumped it into my arm and burned myself. I refuse to photoshop things like this out of my photos. In fact, the only thing I use it for on my photos is to adjust the lighting if it comes off wonky in a photo, crop, and resize. I always want to be straightforward with you guys and not portray an unrealistic version of myself. Enjoy the rest of your week!

  4. Great pictures! I especially love your bangle :) working with a curling iron is always a risk--lord knows I have had my share of incidents.

  7. I love your top it's so cute!! Also good for you for throwing your little disclaimer out there, it's refreshing to hear about someone who doesn't photoshop themselves into perfection. I hope the burn mark heals soon enough! I know how long of a process that can be.

  8. Your bracelet is so pretty! And don't worry for a second about showing your mark on your arm, it doesn't look that bad & at least it wasn't on your neck...which I've done a time or two before!

    1. Oh no! I've only ever burned my fingers with it before this because I use a clipless one. But I was out about a month ago and I mentioned something about how nasty it looked and this guy said "oh I was wondering what that was but I didn't want to ask and offend you" so I just thought I would let everyone know...hey I'm just a clutz and had a run in with my curling iron! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
