Winter Whites and Herringbone Boots

Sunday, January 5, 2014

Living in New England a good pair of winter boots are an essential. I love my Hunters and they do keep my feet dry but even with the fleece inserts my feet are freezing in them! That was when I started looking for an alternative, and a more wintery boot. Then I came across these lovely herringbone boots from Sorel. I've had my eye on them for awhile and finally got my hands on a pair! They're comfortable, warm, stylish, and keep my feet dry. I really couldn't ask for more in a winter boot! Check out some of Sorel's other winter boots below!

What I'm wearing:
Vest: Old Navy* Jeans: J. Crew Boots c/o: Sorel
*There's no online link for these anymore but I've heard some stores still have them so check your local store!

  1. I've considered Sorel boots - I am going to go with LL Bean for winter for now, but there is a pair of Sorel boots that I have my eye on for when things become a little less frigid!

    1. I love Bean Boots! My problem with them is the way I have to go in the snow they just aren't tall enough!

  2. I am loving your Sorel boots & that Old Navy vest! I live in Canada so good winter boots are a must here too :) and the Old Navy vests are such a great (and less expensive!) alternative to the J Crew ones :)

    1. I just couldn't justify paying that much for a vest (I'm not a huge vest person) so I got the cheaper one first and I ended up breaking down and ordering the excursion vest anyways lol!

  5. Those look so cozy! We don't have many days that they would be needed down here in Louisiana, so I guess I'll just stick with my hunters and bean boots...but I love those! :)

  6. Those boots look so warm. I totally agree, my rainboots keep my feet dry but not warm in the winter and it's really time I invest in some adult winter boots!

  14. I love my Sorels too! Though living in California now, I don't get to wear them as much as I used to when I was living in MA. Happy to find another petite fashion blog!
